We went in to look at an MX-series Kubota but wanted to talk to a salesman about which exact model. Chris was very knowledgeable about the equipment and showed us the MX4900 and 5400. We decided on the MX5400 but wanted to sleep on it. My husband was wanting to make sure that was the exact tractor we wanted because they didn’t have any L-series on their lot. We called a few other local dealerships to see if we could locate an L-series just to compare the two and started talking to other salesmen about their pricing. We found out that AEC was priced much higher than their competitors because they didn’t throw the $4,500 rebate from Kubota into their price like others did. We asked Chris about why they wouldn’t honor it, especially since it was listed directly on Kubota’s website, and he got real defensive real quick and told us that these other dealerships would do a “bait and switch” on us and when it came down to it, they wouldn’t really be offering the rebate. Well, we just had the smoothest transaction of our lives in purchasing our new MX5400 from their competitor WITHOUT a bait a switch, we got the manufacturer’s rebate, and even got some extra upgrades to our unit included in the cheaper price. My advice is to shop around at other dealerships before you are overcharged for the exact same piece of equipment.

Just purchased a newer excavator 1000hrs. 3 hrs into working it alarms go off. Service guy comes out and is helpful. They take the excavator back and bring me an excavator that is two sizes smaller, 20,000 lbs lighter. That’s when things got weird. Chris the sales guy never had the same story twice, and was very quick to throw the service guy under the bus. We finally get with the service manager,Zack and he was a great help and I think he was very honest. Chris how ever sends our excavator back and truck driver Jeff ask where the bucket is. Long story short Chris sold a bucket to us that he was not supposed to have and the rental manager wanted it back. So he was going to take our bucket that was paid for and leave us with nothing. Also we are still waiting to hear from the store manager. Service is good to us, truck driver Jeff is great, stay away from Chris the sales guy, and yet to be able to say anything about the store manager.
