I purchased my self employed health insurance with Adams Insurance about 3-4 years ago. Today I was in need to get a quote for a property I'm looking to purchase. I first called my current agent, then I called Amica but they couldn't help me since they said I might need a commercial policy. Then I called as my 3rd option Adams insurance since I know they handle different lines of policies/insurance. I spoke to John and explained to him what I needed and what I was looking for. Instead of asking me questions about the property to provide me with quote he asked me why didnt I call my agent. I told him I did and they are supposed to call me back on that but knowing that insurance companies have different prices I knew I needed to shop around and decided to call Amica and then Adams Ins. He kept on saying that it will be better if I go with my agent, that I will be saving some $. He never bother to give me a quote or ask questions about it. I told him obviously he's not willing to help me, all I needed was a quote and he said its not that but kept on saying it will be better for me to go with my agent. I used to be an insurance agent for over 10 years and I know that it was part of my job to make sales and bring in business. I knew and I know that if you as an agent can get a customer in with 1 policy is more likely you can bring in all other policies later on too. So obviously he wasn't interested on that. I told him that he lost my business I could had brought in my personal and commercial business policies to Adams Insurance but its ok and hung up. Someone else will appreciate my business. I also had a bad experience that I didnt post before where I needed to get a commercial auto quote and emailed all info to them and they never emailed or called me back. I called and left messages but nothing. They are not interested in our business with them and are probably just sitting there making their hours doing nothing. Bad service. I dont understand how they say they have been in business for so long and represent themselves this way. Nadia M.

This company has integrity and treats their employees and customers with respect. I go to them first for quotes, referral and advice. Not many insurance businesses (or any business) conduct in such a caring and professional manner. A++
