Not direct insurance with Rbfcu. While going through the process of getting quotes is easy they will show you monthly payments that are offered with “top rated” insurance companies but the names are hidden cause you have to contact an agent with said hidden insurance agency.

Pretty disappointed in this. Being a member of RBFCU and having had good experiences so far, I thought I would give them a try and get quotes. Submitted an online quote request and then called and left a message a few days later and never heard back from anyone. It's been a week now and still no contact what so ever.

I usually have a good experience with RBFCU. But today I called about my insurance and I had a very frustrating experience. First I spoke to Angela (very poor service from RBFCU Angela)I explained I need to make changes on my policy due to cost and she transferred me to Safeco, when I attempted to go over the changes with Safeco they transferred me back to Angela. I again advised Angela I wanted to make changes to reduce my cost and she asked me to hold, (assuming she was going to look into my policy to see what she can do and guess what.... she transferred me to Safeco. I hung up and called back and Angela advised we were going to stay on conference call, I put my partner on the phone and the Safeco agent has to contact underwriting can really explain coverage and cost I ask to make the changes I need so finally she makes the changes. Assuming Angela was on the phone I ask to speak to her so that I can talk to her about other options in reducing cost.(AllState was offering me the same coverage for 800.00 than what the new cost would be.) But I did not want to leave RBFCU, well now I will start seeking for a new provider. As a consumer I dislike getting the run around. To me its the worst customer service practice.
