I have never written a review for any business before, but this one feels necessary. I will never be able to express how grateful I am. I was referred to Birds Eye by a neighbor during a time when I was sorting through insurance policies, and coinciding with one of the most difficult months of my life due to personal circumstances. I was working with Bradley at Birds Eye in Melissa. Because of phone issues he was having, most of our communication took place over email. During one of our final phone conversations, I made an offhand and reckless joke about wishing everything would just end. At the time, I had no idea how close I would soon come to making that statement a reality. In the days that followed, I ignored all calls, including Bradley’s, as he was simply following up regarding insurance. What he didn’t know was that I was spiraling. In what turned out to be some of the most critical moments of my life, my phone rang and it was my wife, with our children in the background. What I later learned was that Bradley, genuinely concerned, had taken it upon himself to track down her contact information after sensing something was wrong. He reached out to her and shared his concern for my well-being. That act saved my life. I still have an email from Bradley where he made it clear that insurance was the last thing on his mind. He simply wanted to make sure I was okay and offered to pray with me. To this day, I don’t think he truly knows how close I was to ending my life. Out of embarrassment and shame, I never even properly thanked him. Because of Bradley, I am alive. I found my faith again, and most importantly, my children still have their father. Even now, he continues to check on me weekly, despite the fact that I never followed up about my home or auto policies. Insurance has been the last thing on my mind. When I finally listened to his voicemails and read his emails, not one of them was about selling anything. Every message was simply to make sure I was okay. I am forever grateful.
