I rented here for several years & never had any issues of any kind. I rented climate-controlled units (inside access) & non-climate-controlled units (outside access). Anytime I needed access it was super easy. And I never felt unsafe going in & out, as I occasionally came & went after dark. All units I rented were squeaky clean.

I have rented a storage unit at this Facility for over 10 years.
It is a larger unit easily accessible and temperature controlled.
You can visit seven days a week to add or remove items.
A dolly can be used to bring in/remove larger items.
There is an outer protective fence that has a gate controlled entrance/exit next to the business office (the manager is present from early morning to late afternoon, ~06:30 to17:30) to answer any questions or problems if they arise. There is a Code Box just outside the gate. Put the code in and the gate slides open.
I have storage unit in Bldg 2 and the storage unit is the first one on the L side. Originally the Bldg was unlocked and had a rock inside the door that one used as a temporary doorstop when going inside/outside the Bldg. Once inside I had a lock and key that would open the "door" (this slides from the bottom of the unit to the top by using a rope attached to a handle on the bottom of the unit. I keep the unit pretty full and have storage shelves that were purchased and put together by myself. Items are stacked to be as safe and efficient to put in/remove to limit by time there.
It is helpful that the area/hallways are always clean and safe chemicals are used to limit insects and vermin (rare; I did have a dead mouse some years ago; occasionally there may be a dead grasshopper. I never recall seeing any ants).
Last year they had us buy a BRINKS stainless steel lock (cut, pick resistant with a self key. This was a great improvement because occasionally I would lock up the unit and then lose my key. This consumed a lot of time if it was outside the time the manager was there (usually hot summer day when it stays light until 9:30 PM).
This year they went one better as they now have a new digital door handle and a code to enter Bldg 2. I no longer have to worry about losing my key as it is no longer needed.
I am very happy with South Temple Storage Solutions and plan to continue there.
P.S. And for cold weather and when it gets icy, Joe, the manager sees that the ice is managed to it does not interfere with you using the unit.
