My insurance agent Aaron Roberts I thought had my best interest at heart. I was wrong. He gave me $5,000 maximum water damage coverage with a $1,640 deductible and no coverage exists for repairing pipes. Worst of all, he kept disappearing and being unavailable when I needed his help. When he finally did file my claim, he puts the date for when my policy was not active risking my claim being denied when the incident occurred AFTER my policy was active. Whenever I have an issue during the claims process, Roberts kept treating me like I'm unintelligent and dumb, telling me that better coverage meant higher prices as if I wouldn't know such common sense obvious information. He never apologized for his failure to create a home insurance policy with realistic coverage nor did he ever apologize for carelessly putting in my date of incident inaccurately. That type of irresponsible mistake could have cost me my entire claim case.

Del Mar Insurance has been my insurance guy for several years now and I am so happy. He is an independent insurance agent so he isn't locked in to one company. He can shop and find the best policy for your home, contents and car that fits your finances and needs. He is honest and is only interested in giving you what you need and want. He is never pushy or try to get you to buy more than you actually need. He is the best insurance guy I have ever used.

They have been really great at keeping my home covered even though I run a reschool from it. Communication and timeliness on my part can be frustrating, but Blanca has been very patient with me and I appreciate it. The handling of the mail is a different subject, which is why I gave 4stars. Hopefully that changes with the new address.
