Heimer may not quote you with your best interest in mind. Agent Danielle Rodriguez / Heimer Insurance, quoted our house to the highest Dwelling Coverage (Coverage A) rate w/o a rational, fair or logical reason. Only possible reason seems to be to increase our premium and their commission. It significantly impacted my escrow account, resulting in a financial hardship that is affecting our ability to make timely mortgage payments. By putting a strain on my monthly budget. We reached out and Danielle called me back. She offered to lower Coverage A from $438,000 to $315,000. The competitors quote the Dwelling Coverage at $287,000. So, although Heimer / Danielle offered to lower the rate it still a high rate. They are not facilitating us to opt-out or exclude Coverage C - Contents coverage. Which is optional and it is currently $219,000 for contents like personal belongings, furniture, etc. That amount is absurd for a coverage that we don't want and we don't need. I email American Integrity to escalate the situation hoping for their assistance on this matter. They said they called Heimer and Heimer will call us back. Really? As of today, we have not received any phone calls or an answer from Heimer.
