Overall it's been a great experience with this company, however I just had a frustrating moment that has disheartened me. I had to file a claim due to a hit and run. I was advised by a representative that my pmt would not go up due to the claim if they were able to find the person and get their insurance, which we were able to. Now that my renewal has come up, my payment went up. I call to ask about it and had a lady that could not care one bit about my concerns. I asked to speak to mgr and she said she'd let them know and have them call me back but couldn't tell me when. Also when I mentioned I had been told my rate would not go up when I spoke with a rep during my claim and she said that's a different department so they'd have no clue about how it'd effect my policy. As a customer this is concerning, I want to work with a company who will stand by what they say, not point fingers at different departments. I've been with this company for many many years, just feel like they'd show more compassion.

I was shocked to find that liability alone was over $320 a month for my 18 year old son, added to my policy. Progressive provided the same insurance for $140 per month. Standard provided me with a great rate for full coverage for myself, so I was really disappointed when they couldn't provide a great rate for my 18 year old as well.

Called them in October to add new car found out in November they never added it but charged me for it. Cancel insurance in November now it is February and still waiting on my refund that they said they mail out.
