BUYER BEWARE.
My experience with this agency has left me deeply concerned about the accuracy of the insurance policies they write and the level of customer service they provide.
One of the first frustrations is the difficulty in reaching someone by phone, often resulting in long hold times accompanied by some of the most unpleasant hold music I’ve ever encountered. While that may seem minor, it reflects a larger issue: customer experience does not appear to be a priority.
More concerning are the policy accuracy issues we encountered. We repeatedly provided information regarding our property, yet discrepancies remained on our policies. As any homeowner knows, inaccurate information on an insurance policy can create serious problems if a claim is ever filed.
Jennifer Ortiz handled our home and auto policies. Throughout our experience, communication was limited primarily to email, making it difficult to obtain direct answers to important questions. When concerns were raised about policy details, we did not feel that they were taken seriously or resolved with the level of care and urgency they deserved.
Looking back, I am grateful we never had to file a major claim. The inaccuracies and lack of confidence we developed in the policy information left us concerned about whether coverage would have been handled properly during a loss. Insurance is purchased for peace of mind, and unfortunately, this agency did not provide that.
If you are considering this agency, I strongly encourage you to carefully review every detail of your policy, request written confirmation of all corrections, and verify that the information on your declarations pages accurately reflects your home, vehicles, and household. Fifteen plus years as customers and we couldn’t be happier to be leaving this insurance agency.
