We bought a 2018 Suburban in April 2025 . Made our first payment July 10. Had to rebuild the transmission around August 24. And being told by the transmission mechanic that the motor mount on the driver side needs to be replaced and your rack and pinion is leaking. Took it to the dealership because I chose not to get a warranty. Because after the warranty is out, I will still be paying for the warranty throughout the note Until the suburban is paid off. Lake country Chevrolet in Jasper, Texas did not lift
a finger to help us. If they would inspect the vehicle a little more closely,. I would not have been in this situation to begin with. It will cost me after all said and done $ 9064 that Is what I would have in total repairs!
. I have $1000 paid on the Note. And $9000 in repairs! What’s wrong with this picture question? Even without a warranty, the vehicle should’ve lasted a decent amount of time. Not 100 days in. The salesman was wonderful. He knew where we were coming from. He knew how we were feeling about the situation. But I also know The limits on what he can do. I give the Salesman an A+ Truly A great individual. If you buy a vehicle from them, be sure to have a mechanic look at it before you put any money down! Protect yourself!
