I received a phone call from Steven Mancha Thursday, June 25, 2026 regarding an inquiry I sent for service. We had a good call, he seemed knowledgeable, he gave me a price and stated they could have my request done in 24 hours. I thought that was awesome and said I may have found my longterm tax professional. Steven gave his email address and confirmed his direct cell number and I informed him I'd get documents to him shortly. Within the hour I emailed him everything we spoke about and sent a text telling him the email was sent... Steven responded quickly with "Awesome!" Since we spoke late Thursday I didn't expect completion on Friday. Yet once close of business came Monday I assumed I'd hear from him sometime Tuesday. Tuesday came and went and I shot him a text Wednesday afternoon... NO REPLY. Ok, no biggie, I'm a business owner, I get swamped, I get it. I then text him again the FOLLOWING week and yet again NO REPLY! It's now the end of the week and I'm forced to renew my CPA search and chalk this up to a loss. I understand life and business pulls us all in different directions. But if you're too busy to do something, can't do it, won't do it, or even no longer interested... why ignore and ghost a client??? Two stars for replying to original inqury and our initial chat, loss of three stars for not responding and completely ignoring someone.
