I cannot say that I’m at all impressed with their promptness in payouts for my claim. Can it really take weeks for the mail to traverse two states? Are they experiencing financial problems or just general incompetence? The accident was bad enough, but dealing with this is adding insult to injury. Having worked for a startup company myself I’m beginning to wonder if this is a sign of fatigue and failure before total collapse.

I’ve had the chance to get to know the people behind Lumen Select and their approach to the business. They’re genuinely committed to navigating an ever-changing insurance market while maintaining competitive pricing and a strong foundation. It’s a thoughtful, forward-looking company.

Absolutely the worst insurance company I have ever dealt with. They canceled policies without ever notifying us. They delayed refunds and didn't communicate with us at all. Any other insurance company is better than Lumen. If I could give 0 stars, I would.
