I have used SMA Insurance Agency for auto, commercial, & residential coverage for more than 20 years. At one point, I switched our personal auto coverage to a relatives new agency as a favor. They made a mistake on my wife's birthday causing a significant cost increase. When questioned, my nephew told us that it was because it was a much better company providing superior coverage. A year later we received a substantial policy rate increase. I asked Steve to investigate because he was an agent for the same company. He found out that the company had notified my nephew's agency that they could not confirm that my wife had a valid drivers license thus causing the up charges.He never replied back to correct the issue.
