Discovered on our credit report a delinquent account for a car insurance company we have never used for vehicles we have never owned. If you pull the Vin# in both vehicles you will find the owners are two separate individuals neither of them being us. A former business partner who would have had access to our information opened an insurance plan under our name but attached his home address and phone number with all bills being paid prior to the delinquency under an individual who fraudulently using our information to obtain our credit for his personal use. We have filed a police report. The van was owned by this individual and the truck owned by this individual friend in the policy that had been working for the individual who has committed fraud. We have filed charges.we have also discovered the agent knew this individual personally.
