I recently contacted Merritt Insurance Services to inquire about business insurance options. As a business owner, I had several questions regarding coverage, particularly in the event of workplace injuries. Unfortunately, my experience with the agent was extremely disappointing. The agent became visibly annoyed and instructed me to "Google the answers" after I began asking multiple questions. As a responsible business owner, I believe it is essential to thoroughly understand the details of my insurance coverage to ensure my business is adequately protected in the event of accidents. Such unprofessional behavior is unacceptable from a professional in the insurance industry. If an agent cannot or will not answer basic questions about their products, it raises significant concerns about their competence and commitment to customer service. I would strongly advise anyone considering business insurance from them to proceed with caution.
