I closed to deal with them on a fourplex a couple of years ago. I was the listing agent representing the seller, and they were far from excellent. Not only did they forget to deduct the deposits from the funds to the sellers are closing. When it was brought to their attention, they basically just said oh. They Never apologized or tried to remedy the situation in any way, that I can remember. The owner had to go out of his way to remedy the situation himself by making arrangements directly with the buyer after the transaction had concluded. I’ve closed tens of millions of dollars in transactions on these multifamily properties like this and I’ve never seen a title company make this type of mistake before. From my experience, they also weren’t the friendliest which doesn’t help.
