Parkway Title recently closed a transaction I was involved in and did a terrible job. Started with the Mobile Closer they sent to close the transaction. The guy shows up dressed as if he was going out to work in the yard, ball cap, 2 earrings and reaked of cigarette smoke. Knew little about the documents he was having signed, he was just there to point at the places the buyer was supposed to sign. Then when it came time to disburse they sent a check to the wrong address and rather than admit the mistake and try to make it right, got defensive and stopped communicating with us altogether. It took us 3 business days to receive a return email from them leading up to check problem. I would never do business with them again and I am going to make sure Century Complete knows this as well. There are many competent to great options out there to choose to business with and this is not one of them.

I am a realtor so I deal with a lot of title companies. Working with Diane Martinez at Parkway, Title has been absolutely amazing. Through the bumps and bruises of a difficult transaction this title company has showed up every way possible. I really look forward to working with them again soon. She is definitely earned a top in my favorite escrow officers and title company!!!

This is a review of the Parkway Title Scottsdale office. I could not find any ability for a google review to that office directly. Based on the experience my client, their lender, and I had on this transaction, I believe it is important to disclose their conduct to any clients considering a new build. To be clear, I have never dealt with an escrow company where I have felt it important to give a review so others be aware of their practices. I have been selling homes in Prescott for 31 years, and I do not make these comments lightly. Unfortunately, I have never worked with an escrow/title company as unprofessional, unhelpful, uncommunicative, and discourteous as Parkway Title. The lender, with 30 years of experience, shared the same frustrations, as well as the Buyer for the home. Parkway’s handling of the escrow caused unnecessary delays and avoidable stress for Buyers who were diligent and responsive throughout the process. The following are my complaints: Unclear escrow contact: We were initially given one escrow officer, then later told it was someone else. Parkway required all communication to go through a general mailbox, but calls to the main line were often rude or unhelpful, with responses like “we are working on month-end.” Buyers never received a call or guidance about the portal, title report, or process. Delayed title updates: The lender requested an updated preliminary title report late in escrow to comply with the 3-day TRID rule, as well as to comply with the Contract's close date (their delay could have cost the Buyers an additional $4,000 in late fees). Parkway advised they had 24–48 hours, citing “month-end,” despite our requests to rush it (and also advised that 24-48 hours was indeed a rush). Most escrow companies I have worked with can get an update within a few hours. Unprofessional responses: Buyer calls often escalated into rudeness by Parkway. Simple questions were met with resistance or hostility. Signings and logistics: Parkway initially required Buyers to drive to Scottsdale to sign documents or risk mailed delays, even though the home and Buyers are located in Prescott. Only after I intervened did they arrange a courier, without notifying us (while we were trying to figure out other logistics), that they had arranged a courier, until I followed up. In short, Parkway Title demonstrated a lack of professionalism, accountability, and consideration for the Buyers’ experience. Their approach added needless stress and delays to what should have been an exciting milestone. I share this feedback in the hope that Century Communities takes it seriously when evaluating Parkway Title’s continued use in Prescott (unfortunately Parkway Title appears to be owned by Century Communities).
