Unfortunately, Pinnacle had an alarming number of issues with our transaction. Just about everything that could go wrong, went wrong, and it was all avoidable. The closing almost didn't happen: 1) The seller seemingly wasn't notified he had to sign until nearly 7pm. If we did not sign that day, the deal would have completely fallen apart due to mortgage lock-in rates and other factors. 2) The numbers were wrong several times. Our Closing Manager, Elvie Avants, KNEW the first set of numbers were not balanced, but very confidently tried to have us sign anyway. We actually had to walk out the first time they tried to close. 3) It took nearly the entire following day to fund and get the keys; ultimately hindering us from obtaining utilities/water until after the weekend. 4) Communication throughout the process was non-existent. Several calls and emails went unanswered, resulting in us having to physically show up to the office twice in order to obtain answers. If you go with Pinnacle or are directed to because you're working with the Kink Team at Keller Williams... Be prepared for disappointment, read EVERYTHING, and pay close attention to the numbers!
