As a real estate broker, I have worked with many title companies over the years, and unfortunately, my experience with this office was extremely disappointing. I found Roxanna, Melissa, and Ms.Woltman to be unprofessional and difficult to work with throughout the transaction. What concerned me most was the apparent lack of understanding regarding certain contractual requirements and the unwillingness to assist in ensuring compliance. In this transaction, my client had an option fee that needed to be delivered. I was advised that the title company would not provide a FedEx label because the option fee was only $1 and, according to them, it was "not worth it." Regardless of the amount, contractual deadlines and compliance requirements are important and should be treated seriously. Rather than helping facilitate a smooth transaction, I felt that unnecessary obstacles were created that could have placed my client at risk. Based on this experience, I would not choose to close another transaction with this title company and would not recommend them to fellow real estate professionals. Also Roxana and Melissa who aren't real estate professionals tried to educate me on real estate laws and they were completely off. I consulted with my personal real estate attorney who verified they were not correct asking me to deliver additional option money directly to the seller. The Law changed in 2021. I hope management takes steps to improve communication, professionalism, and client service moving forward.
