You know when you find the right car and when you find the right dealership. We had friendly and professional service from the time we walked in the door. They did not try to force a sale. Caesar was amazing and took the time to make sure I had the information and hands on training to utilize all of the upgrades that come with a Platinum Explorer. Visited Richard Karr Buick GMC in Waco to look at a GMC Acadia and left pretty disappointed. We spent time outside with no help before going in. Jenifer was kind and helpful, but once we sat down and were upfront about being upside down on our current vehicle, things changed. We were repeatedly told our “best option” was to voluntarily let the vehicle be repossessed, which was surprising advice. After we left, we continued texting Jenifer and were told we think you’ll need $11–12k down without talking to a bank or having our situation properly reviewed. No one in management or finance ever spoke with us directly or actually evaluated our situation. We were simply sent on our way. We were serious buyers and even followed up offering to provide our numbers, but no real effort was made to help. At this point, we would like the owner or upper management to reach out directly. We are actively deciding where to purchase our next vehicle, and this experience will absolutely impact that decision depending on how it’s handled.
