If you are looking for a title company and not sure where to go I'm writing this review for you. I do not usually write reviews, but the handful I have written were for absolutely exceptional service and this is one of those reviews. 6 months ago my family and I were purchasing a property and had no idea what the process was and how to go through with it. We had zero knowledge on purchasing land, and even less knowledge on how to legally set up financing through the seller. Community title walked us through the process and did the investigation into the deed and property history guaranteeing the deed was free and clear, they handled all of the paperwork involved in filing the transfer and recording the records with the county court house. When we were ready to close the seller was out of town, I was stressed thinking this would push back the closing but Community title on their own had set up a mobile notary to meet the seller and get all documents signed and notorized. We arrived on the date and time of closing and the process was seamless, the office feels less like a business and more like being taken care of by family. I genuinely felt like we were being taken care of by family. Community title has everything in house for all property purchases and sales, they were able to set up a deed of trust with a promissory note to cover the financing by the seller. When I tell you they took care of everything, I mean it all we had to do was sign on the lines. This was my first experience with Community title and it was great! Now comes the part that really left a lasting impact with me, great service during the buying process is wonderful but where you really see how great a business is is when all is done and you need help after. When we were ready to make our final payment on the property again we had no clue how to get it handled, the only people I knew to call was Community title, and that's what I did. On the phone the gentleman asked to call me back so he could go through our documents and figure out what is needed. When he called me back he referred me to their in house lawyer, I was transferred and spoke with them, they were great. The lawyer explained what was needed and what the seller would have to sign to release the lien, I never got the feeling that they were trying to sell me a service I could tell they were just trying to help me navigate what was left. I asked the lawyer if this was something he could help me with and without question he had a draft sent over to me in less than an hour, I set up a date for the seller to come in and sign the release and to give him the final payment. Here is where the lasting relationship with Community title was made, after speaking with the lawyer his assistant told me their office would close at 4pm on the day the seller could meet me there, unfortunately he was coming from out of town and would not make it in time, the lawyer advised me Community title will be open until 5 and I spoke with someone at Community that confirmed they would be there until 5 on the day so that the release could be signed and notorized. On the day we met at Community I learned from online that they actually closed at 4pm that day I was again worried that an honest mistake could push us back a weekend, when I asked the receptionist about the time they closed she told me 4pm but before I could even tell her about the issue of time she quickly explained someone mistakingly told me they closed at 5pm and so they will be staying there until we could get the document signed, they did not have to do this they could have said it was a mistake and closed at 4pm and left for the day but they didn't. At 430pm everything was signed and notorized and copies were given to us. My initial experience with closing was great, but my second experience with getting the release of lien signed and recorded was what absolutely set Community title apart from any other title company in texas. I will never use any other Title company, community Title is the epitome of what a business should strive to be.

We closed on selling property 8/16/23. Kelli was the closing agent. We’d unfortunately been exposed to COVID few days prior to this day and courteously informed of this situation prior to making the 1 hour & 45 minute drive to this office. We took CDC precautionary measures (even though we are no longer in pandemic) including testing negative and wearing masks when we arrived. My husband suggested rescheduling the closing, but of course Kelli did not want to do that, stating she would accommodate for this situation. I’d asked to use the restroom when we got to the office only to be denied and told to go down a few blocks to Jack-in-the-Box, so we left and I used the bathroom of a fast food restaurant because of the I guess phobia and prejudices of this Company. I was stunned and appalled, at the moment, or I wouldn’t have returned for them to make money from our transaction. BAD business practice!!!! Probably illegal, but I have no more effort to give this madness…Shame on you!
