Slow, incompetent, and unprofessional to put it in a nutshell. This office was recently acquired from the long-time ownership passed through 3 generations of the same family. In a short time, what was a very well run title plant has become what I want to describe as a 'joke', but in reality a shame as it is the only abstract office in the county. Looking at some of the other reviews and I have heard it person, I'm not the only one that feels that way. Slow in that they set a lengthy window of time to complete a project, then went well over that deadline. I had another title plant in another county complete title on a property in 1/4 of the time it took them. Unprofessional in that they don't return calls or give updates. In fact one time, the person doing the title spent more time screening my call than it would have taken them to answer a simple question. Also I was told they would call me back and that never happened. Lastly, incompetent in that I was informed through a representative involved that they had an issue. An issue I resolved myself in about 3 minutes. I can run title and this issue would be something a person would learn in the first week of "Chain of Title 101". I do wish them well, if for no other reason that the people in the county are dependent upon them. The new owners either need to sell it to someone that knows how to run a title plant efficiently or bring in someone that can.

The new owners and staff go above and beyond for their clients! From the first intro call to the closing table Casey and her team were professional, polite, proficient, and above all else prompt! I’m can’t express how happy I am to see a top notch outfit like this in lamesa again!

Owner failed to disclose personal relationship to seller.
It took 7 hours and multiple calls from buyer/realtor/lender to get them to release wiring information (when every other title company on the planet actually helps buyers through the wiring process instead of delaying it).
They refused to cooperate with the mortgage company to fund closing, waited several days and delayed closing.
Additionally, 3 weeks after closing it was revealed they had not funded home insurance/home warranty and had tried to just keep this money.
Dishonest, incompetent, and unprofessional.
