Small mom and pop credit union lacking a lot of common day banking technologies. No ATM cash deposits, rudimentary online banking with no bill pay, one location, closed weekends and they use a 3rd party banking app. Each transaction is followed by a "TRACE" comment so you have a bunch of garbage in your transaction history you can't stop or filter out. Their credit union also won't connect to MINT which I tried to solve unsuccessfully. They accidentally deposited 3k of mine into someone else's account once and they lost or stole $500 in cash when I went to exchange $20s for $100s recently. It was after that I had no choice but to move my loan and close my accounts. It was THE worst credit union I have ever done business with. I highly recommend not using SouthernStar. It was a relief to get out of this place.
