For over 3 months now, I have been diligently working to get my claim paid. The lack of correspondence is unbelievable. I have made multiple attempts to contact someone there. All of their response emails are signed 'Claims Customer Service'. They have blamed all of the delays on me, though never providing communication or follow up that they needed more documentation. Here we are and they have FINALLY cut a check. They cut it for almost $1000 less than what the max was (I have over $4500 in bills to pay for this now), and they're now saying they won't pay it because I never provided proof that I PAID THE FULL AMOUNT...which they never told me until after they cut the check that I needed to "provide receipts of patient payment". I'm convinced they hold meetings on strategies to not pay out anything. This has been so stressful and become a second job to get this taken care of. They finally cut the check, OVER THREE MONTHS LATER, says it takes at least three weeks to be mailed....come to find out this afternoon, THEY MAILED THE CHECK TO THE WRONG ADDRESS. Not even so much as an apology for the error. For the lack of communication. For the complete lack of knowledge each time you call in. This company in theory sounds so great. The reality is that they never have any intentions of paying. I'm not even sure Shawn is being truthful when she's telling me a check was ever even cut. Highly, highly, HIGHLY do not recommend this company. UNBELIEVABLE.

Horrible customer service representatives. Constantly giving contradicting information regarding claims and do so with horrible attitude. If you call in, they'll start spewing information that isn't even relevant to your question before you can even clarify why you are calling. I was basically yelled at that "the member had no claims on file whatsoever," when I hadn't even stated the reason for my call. It feels like you're speaking with people on stimulants or that you're in a dream where nothing quite makes sense. Unbelievably bad. These guys truly one up all other insurance companies with their inability to do anything.

I don't think the customer service team is very nice. i have complained to my HR department to give other supplemental coverage options. Dont be surprised if you feel violated after encountering this provider.
