I had one of the worst experience dealing with Suncoast Claims. Before signing the contract, they are very humble. After signing, they start showing the real picture and there "tone" changes as if they are doing favor on you. Even for adjuster to visit, it takes several weeks. Then they wait for almost 8 weeks saying they are working on this "rocket science" and just before the legally allowed time for them to submit is about to finish, they call and force you to work with there contractor which was not the case before signing the contract. They refused to provide any document without contractor and the contract which was digitally signed was cancelled just on a phone call saying adjuster can't provide estimate without contractor. I almost lost 10 weeks time due to the absolute unprofessional behavior. Sent multiple emails / calls but seems all in vain. My exp was worst but if you consider them then would recommend checking - 1. When will adjuster inspect the damage 2. When will adjuster submit estimates / documentation. And how can they showcase any progress on the work getting done in this duration? 3. Under what circumstances contract can get cancelled and how? Any penalty clause if contract gets cancelled by either party? 4. Will there be a mandate to have contractor assigned for adjuster to provide estimates? If you have firm answers to above questions and acceptable to your requirement then only proceed, else after wasting months, these folks can leave you in a miserable situation.
