Despite purchasing an insurance policy thru Gant, and paying the entire 6 months upfront, I continually had difficulty getting them to follow through with what they had promised me. To begin with I wanted to purchase a year’s worth of auto insurance but I was told they didn’t have the capability to write a policy for a year. They did however write me a policy but I was made to stand in the front of their building while the receptionist wrote my policy. This was very awkward. Due to a restriction on my license I am required to have a policy with an SR22. The agent who helped me told me she would provide me proof of the SR22 within 24hrs. I have been waiting a month in which time I have made several calls to Gant all of which have been met with a less than hospitable person on the other end. I would not recommend doing business with Gant. I myself wouldn’t have but I was in an unusual predicament and needed insurance immediately.
