As a first-time homebuyer, the home buying process is already overwhelming and unfamiliar. The last thing you need is someone making it harder. Unfortunately, that was my experience with Amy. Every time I called, she was short, dismissive, and frankly rude on the phone. No patience, no willingness to help a novice understand what was going on. It made an already stressful process feel even more isolating. What made it more frustrating is that in person, when others are around, she was completely pleasant, which tells you everything you need to know. I would caution any first-time homebuyer who needs a little extra guidance and patience to keep that in mind. Everyone deserves to be treated with basic respect, regardless of how routine the transaction may feel on your end.
