If you’re looking for a quality mechanic, you won’t find one here. About a month ago I took my Ford F-150 to them for an electrical issue, which the warranty wouldn’t cover, and I ended up paying $622. I’m attaching the paper where they supposedly repaired my wiring harness and replaced a sensor. A week later, my truck started having the same issue again, and since I’ve been working far away, I couldn’t take it back. I decided to check it myself and found out their “quality repair” was just wrapping some wires with electrical tape—and they didn’t even do that right, so it kept throwing the same error. Thanks Nixon Ford for being trash.

This past week I had a great experience with Caraway Ford in Nixon, TX. Being it was a short working week because of the holidays, I needed mechanical service because I was having trouble with the fuel system on my F250 diesel truck. I called several dealerships but some were short handed because of the holidays or backlogged with work until the beginning of 2026. I called Kenneth Clifton, the service manager, who took time to listen, and the only one to offer suggestions in trouble shooting the problem which I did not get from the big city dealerships. Although Mr. Clifton offered to take the truck as soon as Monday, I made a courtesy visit to the dealership on Friday after Christmas to make arrangements for the repair. Upon arriving at the dealership, I met with Kevin Caraway, the general manager, who greeted me with a positive attitude and "small town" hospitality. Mr. Caraway made me feel welcomed, and during our conversation clearly demonstrated honesty and desire to provde great customer service supported by the numerous awards the dealerships has received for their excellent service for the past years as displayed in the dealship lobby. After Mr. Caraway introduced me to Mr. Clifton, the service manager took time to explain the fuel operation system of my truck. In addition, he went one further step and offered to take the truck that same day. My truck was towed in just before lunch and by approximately 2:30 pm. it was fixed and running like a new truck. Mr. Clifton is knowledgeable and has many years previously working as a service technician, what makes him now an exceptional service manager. I truly had a great experience and strongly recommend Caraway Ford because of their excellent customer service, prompt service, and great work.
