I was glad the policy terminated - I made a late payment - first time ever. They said I would have to start with new policy - extremly high. Did without for 11 months. Then got a great deal with Allstate. Lower than the old premium with TSG.

Absolutely the worst insurance company I have ever dealt with. I canceled my policy after 2 months of paying the premium. They only refunded me a little more than half back. Horrible! They also say you have 15 days to pay them but they sure took their time sending me a refund. It took 2 months. I wish I could give them zero stars.

Texas Security General made an error in accounting. It happens, during the 90 days it takes for them to discover their error others act; premiums are returned, etc. When they discover the error they cause all who have acted in a timely fashion, as TSG did not and acted based on TSG information. TSG did not take responsbility for their error, they simply caused issues for my agency, the premium finance company and the insured. Our agency absorbed the few hundred of difference. TSG cancels our contract, letter received 7/29/23 citing "Communication issues" which is not accurate but whatever, fine Cancellation to be effective 8/25, fine again. Today I try to bind a renewal, they tell me no, my underwriter says "they will not allow me to bind the account." One has to award a star to be allowed to post, I would award no stars. Glad to be away from this group.
